2016 Travel Recap + 2017 Travel Goals

I cannot believe another travel year has come to a close! For my 2016 travel Recap, i want to share my travels so far this year with you and also share my 2017 travel goals as well.

By now, you know that my heart longs for travel and adventure. I have a burning desire to explore the world  and experience new cultures and places and meet new beautiful people. My mantra is to visit at least one new place a year be it domestically or internationally.

This year i visited 6 cities that includes 1 international destination and 5 domestic destinations :Austin Tx, San diego CA, Philadelphia PA, London Uk , Dallas Tx and San Antonio Tx.

I love creating travel memories with my husband and children. It was an amazing year of travel for us 🙂

February 2016 : My husband and i and our girls took a weekend trip to Austin for Valentine’s weekend. We  wanted to do something different with the kids and Austin seemed like the perfect destination. It’s only a couple of hours drive from Houston so it was painless. We stayed at the downtown Marriott and visited the Austin zoo, did some site seeing and ate great food. We had a great time.

June 2016: My girls and i took a trip to San Diego to celebrate my birthday. This was my our first time there so we were every excited. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in National city. We visited the famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, LegoLand, Birch Aquarium, Mission Beach, Gaslamp district etc. San diego is absolutely beautiful, kid friendly and has lots of great food options.
